Eirik Evjen is sharply present and authentic in his approach as a cinematographer and still photographer. He mainly does commercial and documentary work, often a perfect mix of both.
He is driven by an inner restlessness which brings him to new adventures, being a new mountain to climb or assignments in the middle east. This also pushes him to continuously develop his visual language. His strength lies in his curiosity and by being solution oriented.
Most of his life Eirik has spent on film sets, either in front or behind the camera. Since he finished his education at Bilder Nordic in 2013, Eirik has been a well sought still photographer within architecture, lifestyle, portraits, and film posters. As a cinematographer, he is often prefered by film directors because of his skills, mindset and personality.
His client list includes BBC, NRK, TV2, DNB, Saudi TV, Visit Norway, The American Institute of Architects, Oslo Nye Teater, Folketeateret, Røde Kors, Betsson, Pushwagner, Avinor, Norsk tipping, Sondre Justad, ARY. He has done still photography for movies such as Amundsen, Nobel, Bølgen, TWIN, Frikjent and Børning.
